Aidan is trying so hard to become a big boy. He's toying with the idea of potty training and even went in the potty at school on Friday. He's also doing a great job of entertaining himself in independent play. He's growing up before our eyes!
Anyone who knows us or has read this blog knows that Aidan's sleep has always been an issue. And those who have kept up know that lately he's been the champion sleeper, even at naptime. Although to a lesser degree, he's also become known for his difficult wake-ups. Jason is usually the one to get him when he wakes up screaming for us but for the last several days, Aidan's been getting up on his own without incident. Yesterday after nap he came into the living room to find us. Jason tells me that a couple of mornings he's been found playing in his room with the light on (he can reach his light switch from his bed). It's just more evidence that he doesn't need his Mommy anymore.
Our weekend was pretty fun for him. On Saturday we were in Richmond for Sabrina's graduation (who he has started spontaneously calling "Ms. Brina"). Nathan, Landon, and Nolan were all there and what a great time that was! Aidan played his little heart out and was delighted that the three came to visit us at our house on Sunday.

He still needs you! And didn't you enjoy sleeping in for a bit?
