Aidan has really been enjoying himself. It's a little warmer and stays light longer, so he's been playing outside after school. It's hard to imagine that we had a huge snowfall just over the weekend!
We hosted Grandpa over the weekend and Aidan absolutely loved the stories. I remember when Rebecca was little-- how much she enjoyed Grandpa's stories (and she still does). And now Aidan is loving them too. The scarier the better, although he lets you know when it's a bit too scary for him. He talked about Grandpa's stories all the way to school this morning. He's looking forward to Grandpa's next trip in a couple of weeks.
In family news, we're continuing to prepare for the big move. Jason is in the final stages of repairing the house for sale and someone came by to look at it yesterday. I doubt that will lead to anything, since it's probably a little more house than they appear to be interested in. The best news is that the school we like in Lubbock has told us that Aidan is in as long as we are still interested after visiting. We're planning our trip for the end of May and our realtor says she has a house that we may like, the owners are preparing to list in June. Wouldn't it be great if our house sold and we found one on our first visit?
